From 06. – 09.02.2024, the University Clinic for Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Medical University Innsbruck, hosted a training of teachers from ten high education institutions on the implementation of metacognitive problem-based modules in blended learning as part of the ERASMUS Plus project. The main goal objective of the ProBLeMS project is to enhance implement a new learning mode in collaboration with universities to improve the education of medical students at higher education institutions in the Western Balkans. This model enables  medical students at higher education institutions in West Balkan to apply conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive knowledge to solve real-life problems. The project supports Western Balkans universities in integrating blended learning into their curriculum in collaboration with EU universities.
