From March 18 to 22, 2025, the University Clinic for Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the Medical University of Innsbruck hosted a workshop for teachers from Western Balkan countries. Representatives of the University of East Sarajevo and the Faculty of Medicine Foča were Prof. Dr Dejan Bokonjić, Prof. Dr Srđan Mašić, Mr. Todor Obradović, and Senior Teaching Assistant Dr. Dragan Spaić.
The training was organized as part of the ERASMUS Plus project “Development and Implementation of Metacognitive Problem-Based Modules in Blended Learning Courses in Medical Sciences (ProBLeMS)” and focused on enhancing existing Metacognitive Problem-Based Modules (MCPB) through the application of artificial intelligence in blended learning.
The main objective of the workshop was to improve teaching methods by integrating modern technological solutions, enabling medical students to more effectively connect conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive knowledge in solving real-life problems.
